About David

David is a Clinical Psychologist who aims to work with clients so they can understand and experience themselves and others in a way that brings a greater sense of connection, meaning, and richness into their lives.  David can provide clients with treatment interventions ranging from brief therapy to long-term therapy, depending on their needs.  

David has a friendly, empathic, and collaborative style with clients.  He also draws upon a range of life experiences to better understand and work with them, including: helping to raise a family, living overseas, and working in the engineering sector.  

David is experienced in working in private practice and the hospital sector. His particular interest is in working with adults who have been struggling for a long time with a sense of disconnection from a richer and more meaningful life.

Meet David

  • David has had two other careers before becoming a Clinical Psychologist: Automotive Engineer and English Teacher in Japan.
  • Used to be an assistant instructor in both Kung Fu and Judo.

  • Enjoys spending time with his family, playing sport, video gaming, and reading.

  • Speaks Japanese at an intermediate level.
