About Liz

Liz is a registered psychologist with a naturally warm and empathic style. She aims to work with clients to explore the links between their life experiences and the challenges they are facing. This shared understanding is the platform from which positive change can grow through learning new skills, recognising patterns, and adopting new choices.

Liz provides short-term and long-term therapy, depending on each individual’s needs. She is experienced in working with adolescents and adults presenting with a range of psychological difficulties.

Liz’s research focused on the importance of belongingness in our lives. She also has a particular interest in working with parents, supporting them to feel more connected with their children.

With a Master of Clinical Psychology from Queensland University of Technology, Liz has a broad range of professional experience, including community mental health, hospital, university clinic and university teaching and research settings.
