About Cherie

Cherie is a warm, professional and experienced psychologist with 24 years of experience, having practised since 1994. She takes a non-judgemental, warm and caring approach to helping to undo the emotional knots we sometimes find ourselves in.

Cherie feels it’s a privilege to listen to peoples’ stories and help them gain understanding and develop strategies to allow life to flow more freely again. “It’s a very humbling job and an honour to be trusted with people’s personal experiences and to be part of a way forward”.

Cherie has a broad range of experience encompassing palliative care, rehabilitation, hospital, community, university and research, employee assistance programs, WorkCover, mental health, home visiting and rural mental health with clients of all ages.

Cherie has a Masters in Clinical Psychology from The University of Queensland and is a member of the Clinical College of the Australian Psychological Society.
