About Katherine

Katherine is a warm and compassionate Clinical Psychologist who has been practising Psychology for over 12 years. She works with adults aged 18 years and older. Katherine has worked with diverse populations in various settings, including private/public hospitals, community-based and hospital-based mental health services, research-based treatment programs and extensively in private practice.

Katherine has substantial experience working with adults with mood and anxiety disorders and those with a history of trauma. She also has considerable experience working with individuals adjusting to difficult life transitions, stress or unexpected changes in their lives.  Katherine recognises that each client is unique and strives to tailor each client’s treatment approach and needs.

Overwhelmingly Katherine strives to assist clients in developing and applying the skills and resilience they need to cope effectively over the long term. As such, she favours strategies that empower, educate, and encourage clients to improve and enhance their own psychological health.
