About Jennifer

Jennifer is a Clinical Psychologist who takes a warm and holistic approach to working at the intersection of mental and physical wellbeing. Jennifer enjoys working collaboratively with clients to set goals and formulate highly-personalised treatment plans.

She provides treatment in a number of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness-based practices.

Jennifer has a particular interest, training, and experience in the treatment of PTSD among civilians, combat veterans, and first responders.

Before joining Brisbane City Psychologists, Jennifer saw clients in her private practice in NSW; in a private inpatient mental health clinic; in a chronic pain treatment program, and in an intensive outpatient PTSD-treatment program for ADF veterans and first responders.

Jennifer’s qualifications include a Master of Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Psychology, for which she was awarded the Australian Psychological Society Clinical College Prize and the University Medal, respectively.

Jennifer is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia as an endorsed Clinical Psychologist and is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).

Meet Jennifer

  • Prior to her work as a Clinical Psychologist, Jennifer was a Journalist, an Assistant Director on feature films and a Producer of television documentaries.

  • Enjoys cooking a wide range of Asian foods

  • Loves expanding her professional knowledge through extra training and doing lots of reading on weekends.

  • She hopes to improve her Park Run time this year!
