Sarah is passionate about working with couples, assisting them to reconnect and work towards developing closer, stronger and more secure relationships through Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She has worked with couples experiencing relationship distress, difficulties blending step-families, and sexual dysfunction.
Upon discovering EFT, Sarah has been dedicated to learning and embracing the model, eagerly undertaking training, as well as ongoing professional development in this area.
Additionally, Sarah is experienced in the clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adolescent issues. It is her aim to support people to overcome struggles, live more fully, and develop enhanced self-compassion, irrespective of adversity, by providing evidence-based treatments that utilise a strengths-based, client centred, collaborative approach.
Sarah is a provisional registered psychologist about to complete a Master of Psychology (Counselling) at the University of Queensland.
