About Rose

Rose is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who works with adults. She has a particular interest in working with individuals who are struggling with eating disorders or body image concerns, substance use disorders, and trauma. She also enjoys working with LGBTQIA+ clients.

Rose recognises that all clients are unique and will tailor the therapeutic plan to suit each client. She draws on several evidence-based therapies including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), enhanced cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT-E), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).

Rose recognises how daunting it can be to decide to come to therapy and the strength it requires to engage in this process. With this in mind, she takes a calm and gentle approach in order to create a safe space for clients to express and explore their concerns.  She will regularly check in to ensure that clients are getting the most out of their sessions, which includes exploring how well supported and heard the client feels. She believes it is important that clients agree with the therapeutic approach being used and feel that they are making progress towards goals they would like to achieve. She is open to adjusting her approach based on feedback and works with her clients to ensure that therapy is being delivered in a way that allows them to effectively engage and benefit from this process.
