About Elsabé
As a Clinical Psychologist with over nine years of experience, I support children, adolescents, adults and couples through a wide range of challenges. I have a particular passion and interest in helping people navigate anxiety, recover from trauma, and engage in deeper self-understanding through depth-oriented therapy.
My approach is informed by psychodynamic thinking, psychological assessment, and neuroscience. I also draw on mindfulness and somatic practices to support meaningful, lasting change.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in safe, compassionate relationships. I value authenticity and curiosity in therapy and aim to help you feel truly seen and supported, especially during messy, painful, or uncertain moments.
Whether you’re going through a significant life transition, seeking clarity around your child’s development, working through trauma, or wanting to strengthen your relationships, I bring warmth, clinical depth, and deep respect for your unique story.
Couples Therapy
I take a relational and integrative approach to Couples Therapy, drawing on psychodynamic principles, attachment theory, and emotion-focused strategies to help partners deepen their connection and understanding. I work collaboratively with both individuals in the relationship, and all sessions are attended by both partners unless we agree on a different arrangement.

ADHD Assessment
A comprehensive assessment for children and adolescents where ADHD is suspected, exploring attention, impulsivity, hyperactivity, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and everyday functioning across home and school settings. The assessment includes clinical interviews, standardised behaviour checklists and psychometric measures, collateral information from parents and teachers where appropriate, and cognitive testing using iPad-based tools for a child-friendly experience. Autism Assessment
A comprehensive assessment for children and adolescents where Autism is suspected. The assessment explores social communication, social understanding, sensory experiences, behavioural patterns, interests, emotional functioning, and developmental history through clinical interviews, standardised assessment measures, behavioural observations, and information gathered from parents, teachers, and other relevant sources where appropriate. Findings are integrated into a detailed diagnostic report with personalised recommendations to support home, school, social, and emotional wellbeing, and to guide access to appropriate supports and services. Specific Learning Disorder (SLD) / Academic Assessment
A comprehensive, standardised assessment of a child or adolescent’s academic skills, designed to identify strengths and difficulties in areas such as reading, written expression, spelling, and mathematics. The assessment includes psychometric measures of academic achievement, together with information gathered from parents, teachers, and relevant background history where appropriate. This assessment can help clarify whether learning difficulties are present, assist in identifying a Specific Learning Disorder (e.g., dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia), and provide practical recommendations to support educational planning and learning outcomes. Cognitive Ability Assessment
A comprehensive, standardised assessment of a child or adolescent’s cognitive abilities, designed to identify individual strengths, challenges, and learning needs. Conducted using iPad-based assessment tools for an engaging and child-friendly experience, and supplemented by questionnaires completed by parents and teachers where appropriate. This assessment can support educational planning, provide insight into learning and developmental difficulties, and assist in identifying intellectual giftedness or intellectual disability. - Appointments outside business hours (before 8:00 am or starting from 4:30 pm) are available and incur a small additional fee of $30.
